FIDELILIUM at the heart of European space cybersecurity: CYSAT 2025 review
Nicolas Malbec, CEO of FIDELILIUM, recently participated in CYSAT Europe 2025, the reference event for cybersecurity applied to space systems, held in Paris.
A pioneering test platform for critical space systems
Julien Airaud (CNES) and Yassir Kazar (Yogosha) presented an initiative to industrialise and standardise security function testing across all space system segments. CNES deployed a dedicated test platform in collaboration with Yogosha, bringing security testing closer to the audited systems.
Securing critical communications without disrupting operations
Frédéric Laurent (Snowpack) and Paul Couturier (Skynopy) highlighted vulnerabilities in the Space Link Extension (SLE) protocol. Their presentation demonstrated how Snowpack's technologies strengthen the security of critical communications without compromising operations.
A nod was given to Sylink, a French company committed to protecting critical infrastructure with a sovereign and modular approach to cybersecurity.
FIDELILIUM's participation in CYSAT is part of a broader dynamic including Nicolas Malbec's role as director of the IPSA MsC Aero AI & Cyber programme, preparing tomorrow's engineers for cybersecurity challenges in complex environments.
FIDELILIUM reaffirms its commitment to contribute to space system security and support European digital sovereignty initiatives.
