Thursday April 10, 2025 marked the ERM Club day of the Institut des Actuaires and the INSTITUT DU RISK MANAGEMENT.
Nicolas Malbec, FIDELILIUM president, spoke during the morning session on operational risk to present "Operational Risk Management in Military and Cyber Defence Operations".

History teaches us that military victories are achieved through boldness and risk-taking.

• However, risk management can be addressed through:
• mastery of force,
• decision preparation (from strategic to tactical level),
• mastery of operational capabilities,
• consideration of the human factor,
• capitalisation on lessons learned (RETEX)

As Kipling wrote, one must always take maximum risks with maximum precautions.
